Well, I finally pulled the trigger on headers. I went with the Kooks long tube headers. I will probably get them put on after the holidays. :D

Did u get the headers on? Any issues with check engine light or emissions in TX?
I haven't put them on yet, I'm waiting to see if I owe Uncle Sam a little extra. If I don't have to, I will probably have them put on the 1st part of March. I have been talking to a shop about install and tuning. I will post up videos and dyno #s before and after!

The shop I went to used a mustang dyno, so I don't know if that has anything to do with #s:4-dontknow:, but the baseline was 311whp and 334wtq. After tuning final #s were 320whp, 344wtq, I'm really impressed with the torque gains!!!!

Congrats on the install! Have you had any problems with the headers throwing cel codes? I am looking into Kooks for my next mod but don't want the trouble with code problems.
There is now a way for tuners to disable the codes and still be able to pass emissions test.

With a custom tune, which is recommended for long tubes you should not get any codes.

Thanks, I haven't had any problems with any codes, they've been on the car since May. I had it tuned for the long tube headers. The only thing I was told by the shop was to look out for a leak where the collectors and the mid pipe connect. Due to the fact that there is no gasket, just the two pipes being bolted together. But nothing a little tightening of the two screws won't fix . I haven't had that issue as of yet.
